Heart of Fire

I also love erotic poetry and i came across this site quite a while ago, its filled with very passionate well written poetry and i am delighted to be able to share it with you all, please check W. I. Boucher's site below and enjoy the read.

The burning question rests upon my lips...

Would you offer your throat to the wolf?
Do you secretly burn to bear it's mark?
Has your heart ached to feed it's soul?
Do you hunger to surrender your flesh?
Do you know how hungry I am for you?

Would you offer your body to the beast?
Do you ache inside with a need to tame it?
Have you ever dreamed of being mine?
Can you conquer your fears and claim it?
Would you offer your throat to the wolf?

A Dream Within a Dream

This is one of the better well know poems by Poe i think everyone has read it or knows a line or two but if   you didn't now you do.

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

A few scribbles of my own

I've always loved poetry, stories and lyrics. Just lately i've started to learn how to play guitar, i'm no Jimmy hendrex but i wrote a tune or two. After all music is poetry in motion, so anyways this is it i hope you enjoy it don't worry its just the words.

Your love inspires me, in a way no other could
You make sense of it all the way i wish i would.

Like two made from one bone, your heart it is my own
and without you by my side this love would surely die.

Your smile it reaches far, to brighten up my dark
and in your hour of need you know I'll be there

So take this love of ours and aim it at the stars
'cause life's too short and one day it will disappear.

Beneath the earth we'll be,
but our love will still be free
for all to breath and feel for an eternity.

I carry your heart

I'm starting off with my most favorite poem, i just adore the romantic simplicity.
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Beneath my Hands

Beneath my hands
your small breasts
are the upturned bellies
of breathing fallen sparrows.

Wherever you move
I hear the sounds of closing wings
of falling wings.

I am speechless
because you have fallen beside me
because your eyelashes
are the spines of tiny fragile animals.

I dread the time
when your mouth
begins to call me hunter.

When you call me close
to tell me
your body is not beautiful
I want to summon
the eyes and hidden mouths
of stone and light and water
to testify against you.

I want them
to surrender before you
the trembling rhyme of your face
from their deep caskets.

When you call me close
to tell me
your body is not beautiful
I want my body and my hands
to be pools
for your looking and laughing.
